John Cline is the co-founder and CTO of ShelfLife. Most recently he led the engineering team for Google Keep, and prior to that he led the consumer engineering team at Blue Apron and the homepage team at eBay. Before joining tech, he worked in government as a long range radar engineer and was an officer in the United States Air Force.
Prior to joining Lillian at ShelfLife, he spent several years leading engineering teams at various companies in NYC. John also created a mentorship program for CUNY students from underrepresented groups studying computer science, helping 20 students find their first jobs in tech at companies like Target, Intuit, and Bank of America. John also co-owned a tacos and mezcal bar in Greenpoint and is actively involved with New Museum and Guggenheim Museum.
John earned an MBA from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and graduated with a bachelors of science in computer science from Seattle University.
