Jayon Wang is CEO of X-COR Therapeutics, a medical device company that is developing novel extracorporeal CO2 removal (ECCO2R) devices to treat acute respiratory failure.
Prior to X-COR, Jayon co-founded LifeShel, inventing medical device injectors and creating IoT-based safety devices. He served as a mechanical engineer and later on as CEO for 2 years. He began his career working at large corporations, such as ExxonMobil and Danaher.
Jayon has an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Harvard University Blavatnik Fellow, and a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
