Today, we're announcing Flybridge 2025, our seventh seed fund, and our latest vehicle to invest in world-changing companies that unlock the potential of AI.  We've already made three investments since our first close. We couldn’t be more excited to continue partnering with ambitious founders who are building AI Infrastructure, Agentic Business Applications, and Native AI Applications for Human Potential.

An agentic AI future? Self-learning systems that allow for leaps in knowledge? Personal superintelligence? Nearly three years since ChatGPT launched, we're past the initial wave of AI hype and into something more profound. Leading AI portfolio companies like Aiera, Arcee.ai, BitSight, BrightHire, Netbox Labs, Noetica, Proscia, Splice, Topline Pro, and Zest AI are showing us what's next—not just AI features, but entirely new ways of working, creating, and connecting.

We're not new to AI. Twenty years of investing in this sector, now on our third thematic wave, we’ve been here since the beginning – first with machine learning, data and insights in the early aughts (shoutout MongoDB), then with applied AI, and now generative AI infrastructure and agentic applications. What excites us now isn't just the technology itself, but what it makes possible when the right founders get their hands on it. In this moment of abundance, company-building constraints are melting away as “10x founders” are doing more with less, achieving results faster than ever before.

AI Infrastructure & Developer Platforms The Enablement Layer.

We continue to invest in the tools builders need to bring AI to life—from model infrastructure and vector databases to fine-tuning platforms, developer workflows, and security. Just as we backed core infrastructure in the cloud era (MongoDB, Firebase), we believe the next generation of enablement software will be built for an AI-native stack and have already seen great progress with Arcade, Arcee, Blitzy, Fiveonefour, Mako, Portkey, TrojAI, and others.

Agentic Business Applications The Action Layer.

Business software is shifting from "AI-assisted" to AI-initiated. We're backing agentic systems that act on behalf of users, not just with them—transforming work from knowledge processing to decision-making and execution. This unlocks new UX paradigms, new pricing models, and entirely new organizational structures. From the enterprise to super-powered SMBs we see this as a new frontier—and a massive category being defined now by companies such as AllSpice, BrightHire, Covenant, Finkargo, H2OK, Syrup, Topline Pro, MelodyArc, Prime Security and others.

Native AI Applications for Human Potential The Imagination Layer.

This is our boldest bet. These are companies creating new ways to work, create, and relate—entirely native to AI. They don't just augment human behavior—they reimagine it. Whether in communication, identity, learning, or creative expression, we're backing category-defining ideas the earlier and the crazier the better. We’ve already invested in Beebot, BoldVoice, Splice, and others.

How we invest: A true early-stage fund, passionate about company creation and the first steps of the founder journey

We focus exclusively on pre-seed and seed investments by choice. In doing so, we lean into our passion for partnering with founders from day one and are deeply involved in the ups and downs of company building as trusted advisors and confidantes. We’re excited about the promise of something new and all of the ambiguity inherent with being the first to believe.

Seed: Flybridge Core Fund

8-10 investments per year, which allows each partner to go deep with a handful of companies. We typically lead or co-lead rounds with $1M - $3M checks alongside high-quality co-investors. 

Pre-Seed: Next Wave Funds

40+ investments per year through our unique Next Wave ecosystem—a network of 50+ founders, entrepreneurs, and executives from top tech companies (e.g., Anthropic, NVIDIA, OpenAI, Toast) who lead investments at the edge of our thesis. This creates unmatched deal flow, network effects, and the ability to take earlier, edgier bets on breakthrough ideas.

From zero revenue to billions, from startup boardrooms to NASDAQ trading floors. With over $1 billion under management and decades of experience, we know what it takes to go from a breakthrough idea to an enduring, high-growth company. Our historical graduation rate from seed to series A is twice the industry average because of this expertise.
