Gryps builds digital robots to connect and augment data from construction systems and provide decision makers with the fastest access to information. Dareen is also an industry advisor to Columbia University's Global Leaders in Construction Management Program.

More About Dareen

Dareen was the Director of Technical Services at Lehrer LLC, leading the implementation of innovative technologies for $1B+ projects and programs in New York City. Dareen was also the Deputy Project Controls Manager at STV, Inc. Notable projects that Dareen contributed to are LaGuardia Airport Redevelopment Program and the Javits Convention Center Expansion. She was also a visiting Assistant Professor at Pratt Institute in New York City. Prior to her career in New York, Dareen was a structural engineer at Dar Al-Handasah Consultants in Cairo.

Dareen completed her MBA at Harvard Business School in 2020. Dareen is a founding Member of New York Society of Construction Solutions (technology focused industry group), an active member of CMAA, and an associate member of ASCE. Prior to business school she served as the co-chair of the CMAA National Emerging Technologies Committee.

She received her undergraduate education at the American University in Cairo (AUC) and her MSc. Civil Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she attended one of the country’s top civil engineering graduate programs.
