Taufan founded Amartha in 2010. He has received various awards including Young Changemaker, Ashoka; One Indonesia Award, Astra; Laureate Global Fellow, International Youth Foundation; Ganesha Innovation Champion Awards, ITB Alumni. Taufan obtained an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Business from the Bandung Institute of Technology.
