Alyssa is, at her core, a problem solver. She is motivated by (and has built a career on) the notion that good product-centric solutions can have massive human-centric impact.
She studied Communications, Sociology, and Business at The Pennsylvania State University and has led growth, partnership, and operational efforts with some of the world's largest brands (P&G, Verizon, Cisco, LiveNation, etc) at some of the world's most impactful organizations (DoSomething.org, Upworthy, and Global Citizen). Most recently, she co-founded Lantern, a venture-backed Public Benefit Corporation that provides digital, step-by-step guidance on navigating life before and after a death. In 2021, she was named one of Forbes Next 1000, which recognizes bold entrepreneurs who are redefining what it means to build and run a business.
Outside of work you can typically find her camping, at a concert, or trying to justify the use of another spreadsheet in her day-to-day life.
