Liz Whitman is President of The Red Door by Elizabeth Arden, the largest national salon and spa brand in the US.  She is an entrepreneur at heart, and sold the consumer beauty start-up she co-founded, Manicube, to The Red Door in 2015.  After joining The Red Door, she spent the first 6 months integrating the Manicube tech platform (akin to an internal marketplace), before assuming the Chief Marketing Officer role, where she led demand side functions in Marketing, Retail and Technology to reinvent the 100+ year brand with a product-driven focus on digital performance marketing, creating a membership model, and re-platforming the consumer-facing website.  As President, she added supply-side functions like Operations, HR, Training, Supply Chain and has continued to meaningfully accelerate revenue and profitability growth by driving the organization with renewed focus on operational excellence and supply-side scale.

Prior to Manicube, Liz was at Quidsi where she launched BeautyBar.com, an e-commerce site (before and during the Amazon acquisition), and prior to that, she was in product management at American Express.

Liz’s side hustle is as an investment partner for XFactor, a seed fund focused on female-founded businesses. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Harvard College.
